About offlead

offlead is built by Luke and Lottie, two dog owners in the UK.

We kept using private hire dog fields and found ourselves jumping between maps, Facebook groups, and owner websites just to compare options. We wanted one place to search, see real photos, and get to the owner without the faff.

So we built offlead: a directory for secure private dog fields. Search by area, compare fields, read reviews, and contact owners directly.

How listings are sourced

Listings come from publicly available business details, owner submissions, and ongoing catalogue maintenance. Where possible we store name, location, photos, facilities, and a booking or website link so dog owners can compare options quickly.

Facility flags and descriptions are based on information associated with the listing. They can change over time, so always check the owner’s own site or booking system before visiting.

Reviews and moderation

offlead reviews are submitted by signed-in users and moderated before they appear publicly. Google ratings shown on some listings are attributed to Google and are not offlead reviews.

If something looks wrong with a listing, contact us and we will review it.
